As the oldest professional sports franchise on the West Coast of the United States, the 49ers have a lot to be proud. Because of a period of high success under coach Bill Walsh and legendary quarterback Joe Montana that saw them win four Super Bowls, and a young core of players currently playing at candlestick park with a bright future ahead of them, fans of the 49ers have a lot to be proud of as well.
