The Bolts now have to difficult proposition of beating the Rangers in a Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers are 7-0 all-time in Game 7s played at New York. Their all-world goalie Henrik Lundqvist has won an NHL-record six straight Game 7s, posting a 0.81 GAA, .973 save percentage and a shutout.
But the Bolts have their red hot captain Steven Stamkos, who has scored in four of the six games in the series thus far, leading the attacking line. The Triplets are also dangerous with Tyler Johnson, Nikita Kucherov and Ondrej Palat combining for 22 points in the series. The Bolts have won four of their five games at Madison Square Garden this season.

There’s plenty on the line for upstart Dodgers pitcher Mike Bolsinger ahead of this game. It’ll be his first start against Los Angeles’ familiar foe, the St. Louis Cardinals. Bolsinger also remains as the only unbeaten starter in the Dodgers’ rotation, going 3-0 with a 0.71 ERA this season. He has not allowed a run in his last two starts.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals are off to best home start in team history, going 18-5 thus far in the season. They have won four straight ahead of tonight’s series opener against the Dodgers. St. Louis puts John Lackey on the mound (2-3, 3.18 ERA) who is 6-3 with a 1.89 ERA in 11 career starts against the Dodgers. Matt Holiday also gives the Cards a winning chance having reached base in a team-best 43 consecutive games this season.
