Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadiens (7:30 PM ET)

Line: Boston Bruins (-105) at Montreal Canadiens (-115); total 5.0 – view all NHL lines

[sc:NHL240 ]The Montreal Canadiens are reeling with a four-game losing streak. They have been almost listless, going 5-15-1 in their last 21 games. But the Canadiens can still pick themselves back up, especially in an Original Six matchup against the Boston Bruins. Montreal has won 13 of the last 15 regular season games between the two teams.

While the Habs are planning on another strong performance versus Boston, Patrice Bergeron has other things in mind. He’s been the best Bruin on the team against Montreal, collecting 19 goals and 27 assists in 59 career head-to-head matchups. Bergeron is entering this game hot after scoring a brace against Toronto on Saturday.

Writer’s Prediction

The Bruins (-105) top Montreal, 4-2.

Dallas Stars vs. Los Angeles Kings (10:30 PM ET)

Line: Dallas Stars (+120) at Los Angeles Kings (-140); total 5.5view all NHL lines

Best Games to Bet on Today: Bruins vs Canadiens & Stars vs Kings

The Dallas Stars once sat at the top of the league and the Central Division. Now, they’re playing second fiddle to the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Chicago Blackhawks. Despite entering this game on the heels of three-straight losses, the Stars still have something to smile about. They finally saw some production from their top players, Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin, in a 4-3 overtime loss to San Jose on Saturday.

Benn had two assists against the Sharks and now has four points in his last three games. Seguin, meanwhile, had a goal and an assist on Saturday. However, the Los Angeles Kings can fight fire with fire themselves. Tyler Toffoli has scored a goal in his last three games, while Anze Kopitar has three goals and five assists in the midst of his current four-game point streak. Jonathan Quick has also been solid on goal, going 8-1-1 with a 1.69 GAA and .938 save percentage over his last 10 starts.

Writer’s Prediction

Dallas (+120) snaps out of its funk in a tight 4-3 victory.
