Pitching for the Yankees in the final game of this four-game set is CC Sabathia (5-7, 3.94 ERA). He struggled mightily in his last start against the Boston Red Sox, coughing up five runs on nine hits in just 5.1 innings of action. The veteran southpaw has hit the skids over his last five starts, allowing 27 runs (25 earned) on 39 hits and 10 walks in the 28.1 innings covering that span. Sabathia owns a horrendous 7.94 ERA since June 22.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Orioles will counter with Chris Tillman. He picked up his 13th win over the weekend, a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. Tillman has been sharp this month of July, lowering his ERA from 3.55 to 3.29. Tillman will fancy his chances of sustaining that terrific form today as he has fared extremely well against the American League East this year. He’s 6-0 in starts against AL East teams this season. In fact, the Orioles are unbeaten in the nine games that Tillman has started against their division rivals this year.
