The Baltimore Ravens are the kings of the preseason. At least you could make an argument that they are, as the Ravens haven’t lost a preseason game since 2015. They have won all of their last 15 “exhibitions” and they could extend that streak to 16 when they pay the Philadelphia Eagles a visit. This makes betting on the event especially exciting. Will the Ravens extend their impressive preseason winning streak? Or will the Eagles stop Baltimore on its tracks? The Ravens and the Eagles are +4500 and +1000 to win Super Bowl 45, respectively.

Betting on the Baltimore Ravens (2-0)
The Ravens won their second preseason in a row this 2019 by downing the Green Bay Packers at home last week, 26-13. Rookie quarterback Trace McSorely put up 74 passing yards on 8-for-13 completions. He had a touchdown but also was intercepted once. Lamar Jackson made a brief appearance and looked sharp in completing 6 of 9 passes for 58 yards. Meanwhile, rookie running back Justice Hill continues to make a case why he warrants a consistent workload in the regular season by rushing for 49 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. It’s not all good news for the Ravens, though, as nickel back Tavon Young could miss the entire year with a neck injury. That should put more attention on the Ravens’ defense that has allowed just 13 points in two games this preseason.
The Ravens are 4-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last four preseason games.
Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (1-1)
The Eagles have a quarterback depth problem after NAte Sudfeld and Cody Kessler were downed by a wrist injury and a concussion, respectively. Enter Josh McCown, whom the Eagles pried away from retirement and signed to a one-year deal. Whether we’ll see McCown sling it against the Ravens is something that should be monitored as the game nears, though, Philly still have Clayton Thorson. The rookie quarterback out of Northwestern went 16 of 26 for 175 passing yards and a touchdown and an interception.in last week’s 24-10 road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars The Eagles’ pass rush has been effective in the preseason, as the team has already compiled a total of 7.0 sacks after taking down the Jags’ quarterbacks four times that resulted to Jacksonville loss of 21 yards.
The under is 3-0-1 in the Eagles’ last four preseason games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Ravens win, 20-17.
