In yet another season shocker, the Baltimore Ravens are coming off of a massive 40-0 blowout win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 8 (Thursday Night Football). It was a much needed victory, and may serve as a shift in momentum for a squad that had lost four of their five last games. QB Joe Flacco suffered a concussion, and yet reports state that he is likely to play this weekend as the Ravens hit the road to face a Tennessee Titans team that’s on a bit of a mini winning streak themselves, giving them a slight edge with 3.5-points at press.

Betting on the Baltimore Ravens (4-4)
The Baltimore Ravens come into this game with a 4-4 record, and if they want to stay pace in the AFC playoff race they need to win this game. The Ravens are coming into this game off their biggest win of the season. They dominated both sides of the ball against the Miami Dolphins last Thursday and that led to a 40-0 victory.
Even though they won the game they might have suffered a devastating loss. Joe Flacco took a big hit from Kiko Alonso and he was diagnosed with a concussion. He is questionable for this team, and if he isn’t able to go they would have to lean on Ryan Mallett who hasn’t had much success in the NFL.
Either way in this game they are probably going to need to lean on the defense which has been good for the most part this year. They come into this game only giving up 18.5 points per game which is 6th in the NFL. The strength of this defense is the passing defense only giving up 184.5 yards per game through the air.
Betting on the Tennessee Titans (4-3)
On the other side of this match up is the Tennessee Titans who come into this game fresh off a bye, and will look to move to 5-3 in this one. In their last game before the bye they really struggled. They took on the Cleveland Browns and the game was pushed to overtime before the Titans won 12-9.
One of the big issues for the Titans has been that quarterback Marcus Mariota really hasn’t been healthy yet this season, but hopefully the extra week off will help him. He comes into this game having thrown for 1301 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. In the last start against the Browns he threw for 203 yards but no touchdowns.
He needs to do a better job of making sure that when they drive the ball down the field. those drives ends in touchdowns. If he keeps struggling to get touchdowns the offense will continue to struggle and this team will miss out on the playoffs.
Writer’s Prediction:
Figuring that Flacco is able to go I think that the Ravens have the advantage on the offensive side of the ball. He will play well enough to help the Ravens win a close low scoring game. Pick: Ravens (+3.5)
