TEAM | TRENDS |
---|---|
Drexel Dragons | 6-0 ATS; 4-0 ATS as underdogs |
Drake Bulldogs | 6-0 ATS overall |
Oregon Ducks | 5-0-1 ATS; 5-0 Over |
Iowa State Cyclones | 6-0 SU; 4-0 ATS |
Michigan State Spartans | Over is 5-1 |
1. Drexel Dragons
Next Games: 12/4 – vs. Cleveland State, 12/7 – vs. Tennessee State
Drexel may be 4-2 SU this season, but the Dragons are one of only a handful of teams with a perfect 6-0 ATS record.
The small school from the Colonial Athletic Association has lost to the Top 25-ranked UCLA and Arizona, but only by a combined seven points. They covered the 7.5 and 12.5 point spreads, improving their record as underdogs this season to 4-0 ATS.
2. Drake Bulldogs
Next Game: 12/7 – at Iowa
Drake is currently 6-1 SU, 2nd in the Missouri Valley Conference, but the Bulldogs are an even better 6-0 ATS. Among the few remaining teams with perfect ATS records, Drake has covered the spread amount on average at +7.4 points.
Drake will face their first ranked opponent this week when they visits #23 Iowa, but they should be buoyed by the fact that the Hawkeyes are a mediocre 4-3 ATS.
3. Oregon Ducks
Next Game: 12/8 – at Mississippi
One of four undefeated teams in the Pac-12 at 7-0 SU, Oregon is also an undefeated 5-0-1 ATS. The Ducks are averaging a 17.6-point margin of victory in those wins. They’ve been double digit favorites five times this season, and are 4-0-1 ATS.
And much like their football counterparts, points are in store when the Ducks are involved. The Over in Oregon’s games is a perfect 5-0. [sc:NCAAB240banner ]
4. Iowa State Cyclones
Next Game: 12/7 – vs. Northern Iowa
#17 Iowa State is flying high in the Big 12 at 6-0 SU and 4-0 ATS. One of the best offensive teams in the country (91.8 points/game, 4th in NCAA), the Cyclones already took down a ranked Michigan team by 7 points to cover a 1-point spread.
Iowa State will face state neighbors Northern Iowa this week, where they will likely be favored. Aside from the Michigan game, the Cyclones have also been favored by 18 and 17 points this season, and covered both comfortably.
5. Michigan State Spartans
Next Game: 12/4 – vs North Carolina
Although the 7-0 Spartans are the #1 ranked team in the country, they’re less than perfect when it comes to covering; Michigan State is currently a disappointing 2-3-1 ATS.
However, Sparty is still dependable in Over/Under; the over is 5-1 in Michigan State’s games so far this season. With UNC on tap in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge this week, a lot of points could once again be in store.
