Top Bet Games to Bet On
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins (Sunday, Dec. 15, 1:00 PM ET)
With Denver suffering a shock defeat to the San Diego Chargers at home, the New England Patriots now have a chance to grab the #1 seed from the Broncos with a win against the Dolphins. [sc:NFL240banner ]
New England is 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs Miami. But the Patriots will have to play once again without Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last week against the Browns. The Pats were minutes away from defeat, but Tom Brady pulled off a magical comeback win.
They face the Dolphins, who have won back to back road games and three of their last four, are still very much in the thick of the AFC Wild Card race.
In their last home game, they were leading the Carolina Panthers until a last-minute touchdown sent them to defeat. While Ryan Tannehill has been competent at quarterback, the real key for the Dolphins is the running game; they’ve won the last four games in which they’ve had over 100 yards rushing. Miami is 4-0 ATS in last 4 games.
Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys (Sunday, Dec. 15, 4:25 PM ET)
Despite losing Aaron Rodgers – and subsequently going 1-4-1 SU without him – the Packers still have a shot at winning the NFC North. They earned a big 22-21 win over the Falcons last week, as Matt Flynn (24/32, 258 yards and the game-winning TD) had his best game since his return to Green Bay.
With Rodgers’ chances of playing on Sunday remaining slim and Eddie Lacy’s status now in question due to an ankle injury, the Packers’ chances are up in the air. The OVER is 12-3 in Green Bay’s last 15 games vs Dallas.
The Cowboys lost valuable ground in the division to the Philadelphia Eagles after a humiliating 45-28 defeat at Chicago last week. Rodgers’ absence should increase Dallas’ chances, although this is still a defense that just got lit up for 348 yards and 4 TDs by Josh McCown.
On the bright side, the Cowboys are an impressive 5-1 SU at home this year –their only loss to the Broncos by 3 – and are 5-0 SU in their last 5 home games vs Green Bay.
