Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview | NFL Week 6 – October 17, 2022

The Denver Broncos are one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL right now. They only have two wins to show after five weeks of football. They are coming off a 12-9 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts in a game that was regarded as one of the ugliest in recent memory. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers are doing much better. They are on a two-game win streak after beating the Houston Texans (34-24) and the Cleveland Browns (30-28) both on the road in Weeks 4 and 5, respectively. Check out our preview of this Broncos vs Chargers game in Week 6 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

Betting Preview for the Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers Week 6 Game on October 17, 2022

Where: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California

When: Monday, October 17, 2022, 8:15 PM ET

Line: Denver Broncos (+4.5) vs Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5) – view all 2022 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: ESPN

Betting on the Denver Broncos (+4.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-3

The Broncos are paying Russell Wilson a ton of money to play for them, so expect him to continue suiting up amid a seemingly minor shoulder injury that did not stop him from practicing this week. Wilson has been playing poorly this season, to say the least, but at some point, he will have to look like his vintage self, and that could come this coming Monday against the Chargers, who have the third-worst scoring defense in the NFL – one that is allowing 27.2 points per game.

The Under is 5-0 in the Broncos’ last five Monday games.

Bet on the Denver Broncos

Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5)

Regular Season Record: 3-2

The Chargers have one of the best pass protections in the NFL, and that shows with the play of Justin Herbert, who has been sacked just five times so far this season. He’s only been sacked more than once in a game just one time so far this season. In part because of the safety the Chargers’ offensive line affords him, Herbert and LA’s offense are averaging 24.4 points per game – ninth in the NFL. Los Angeles is also second overall in the league with 291.2 passing yards per game.

The Chargers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall.
