Football fans are in for a treat later today as we’ve lined up a pair of mouth-watering NFL games that will definitely whet your sporting appetite. Kicking things off today is the much-anticipated showdown between the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints. Following shortly thereafter is the Sunday Night Football clash between the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Carolina Panthers will put their unbeaten record on the line when they lock horns with the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome later today. The Panthers are coming off an impressive 33-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. Luke Kuechly and Kurt Coleman returned two of Tony Romo’s three interceptions for touchdowns to lead the Panthers to their 15th straight regular-season victory.
[sc:NFL240banner ]They will have their work cut out for them, however, against a New Orleans side that’s third in the NFL in total offense, averaging a whopping 401.2 yards per game this season. That being said, the Panthers will fancy their chances against the Saints as they have fared extremely well against them of late. Carolina has won three of its last four meetings with New Orleans. The Panthers beat the Saints, 27-22, in their first encounter this season.
The Panthers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games against the Saints.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (8:30 PM ET)

The Indianapolis Colts kept in step with the Houston Texans in the AFC South race with a convincing 25-12 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Matt Hasselbeck threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns and Adam Vinatieri made four more field goals to lead the Colts to their third consecutive win.
Hasselbeck was once again impressive for the Colts, topping the 300-yard mark for the first time in four years. He improved to 4-0 as an Indianapolis starter this season. He will be licking his chops at the prospect of facing a Pittsburgh defense that’s allowing 377.3 yards per game this season, 10th-worst in the NFL. The Steelers defense was torched last Sunday, losing 39-30 to the Seattle Seahawks. Pittsburgh had no answer for quarterback Russell Wilson who threw a career-high five touchdown passes.
The Steelers are 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games against the Colts.
