[sc:Other240banner ]The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to extend their four-game winning streak tonight when they square off with the struggling New York Knicks in a showdown at Madison Square Garden. The Cavaliers are fresh off a nerve-wracking 111-108 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night to climb to within 1 ½ games behind Chicago for the Central Division lead.
The Big 3 led the way for the Cavaliers once again as they combined for 81 points on 26-of-46 shooting to end their recent home stand with a 4-1 slate. The trio will be out for revenge against the Knicks who spoiled the Cavs’ home debut earlier this season with a 95-90 win.
The Knicks, for their part, have failed to build on the momentum from that huge win, losing 14 of their next 17 games to stumble to a 4-15 record. Offensive woes have been the main problem for the Knicks this season as they are only 29th in the league in scoring, averaging just 93.4 points per game.
The Knicks are 5-1 in their last six meetings with the Cavs at MSG.
Writer’s Prediction
The Cavs prevail, 105-85, piling more misery on the Knicks.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears (8:25 PM ET)
Line: Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) at Chicago Bears (+3.5); total 52.0 – view all NFL lines
The Dallas Cowboys will look to get their season back on track later tonight when they face the Chicago Bears in a marquee Thursday Night Football showdown. The Cowboys are desperate for a pick-me-up win after they were thrashed 33-10 by the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday to fall one game back in the NFC East race.
The onus is on Tony Romo to kick-start their offense after his horrendous performance on Thanksgiving. He completed just 18 of 29 passes for 199 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in that 23-point defeat to the Eagles. He will fancy his chances of having a much better performance against Chicago later tonight. The Bears are the second-worst defensive team in the league today, allowing 28.1 points per game this season.
Writer’s Prediction
The Cowboys destroy the Bears, 38-17. Create a betting account now and cash in on these exciting ballgames.
