Top Bet Games to Bet On
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics (7:30 PM ET)
Doc Rivers returns to Boston for the first time since leaving the franchise he led to a championship in 2008. The Clippers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings against the Celtics – when Rivers was head coach. He brings to Beantown his Clippers team in the fifth game of a grueling seven-game road trip; they’ve gone 2-2 SU thus far. [sc:NBA240banner ]
After back-to-back off-games, Blake Griffin bounced back in a big way against the Sixers. The All-Star forward tallied 26 points and 8 rebounds in a Clippers win.
Odds: Clippers (-6) vs Celtics (+6); O/U:195.5
Rivers’ successor, Brad Stevens, has done wonders with a Celtics team missing the stars that Rivers had in his disposal. The Celtics – preseason candidates for the draft lottery – are currently top of the atrocious Atlantic Division with a 10-13 SU record.
They had their three-game winning streak snapped last night by old friends Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and the Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics are 4-1 in their last 5 home games vs the Clippers.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors (10:30 PM ET)
Former Warrior, Monta Ellis, returns to his old stomping grounds in Oakland as the Dallas Mavericks’ leading scorer (21.5 points/game).
Ellis has faced his old team only once before, which resulted in a forgettable 4-point, 2-16 shooting performance. Ellis once again led the Mavs with 21 points in their last game, a shocking 15-point stuffing at the hands of the Sacramento Kings. The under is 7-3 in the Mavs’ last 10 games.
Odds: Mavs (+5) vs. Warriors (-5); O/U: 209.5
Golden State’s new hotshot guard, Stephen Curry, has been sizzling since his return from a concussion. The sharpshooter has scored over 20 points in each of his last seven games, including a 43-point explosion in a losing effort against the Charlotte Bobcats.
However, the Warriors are still missing defensive stopper, Andre Iguodala, who is likely to miss two to four more weeks. The over is 7-3 in the last 10 games vs the Mavs in Golden State.
