Later on at Levi’s Stadium, Russell Wilson and the rest of the Seattle Seahawks will try to put an end to their losing woes when they lock horns with the San Francisco 49ers, who are coming off an inspiring win over the Ravens last Sunday.

The Dallas Stars are so hot right now. They’re currently on the four-game winning streak and are tied for first place in the Western Conference standings. Now, the Stars will try to continue imposing their will through their offense—that’s averaging 3.5 goals per game thus far this season—when they the last of their four-game road trip this evening opposite the Pittsburgh Penguins.
All eyes are definitely going to be on goalie, Antti Niemi, who was simply astounding in their last contest against as he negated all but one of the Flyers’ 35 shots on goal. And during his last outing with Pittsburgh, Niemi held the Penguins scoreless for the resounding 3-0 victory on October 8.
Speaking of the Penguins, they have also been taking care of business lately. They extended their winning streak to three games after a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory over Florida on Tuesday. Center Sidney Crosby finally ended his offensive slump, as he got his first goal of the season during that win. He also added two assists to his name.

Who would have thought that the Seahawks would be two games under .500 line at this point of the season? The two-time defending NFC champions have been on a funk when it comes to holding on to their lead.
In the last game, they were handed their second-straight loss thanks to Cam Newton’s game-winning touchdown pass to Greg Olsen with 32 seconds remaining in the game. The Seahawks were actually leading by two possessions in the final period but somehow choked it all up. They have now been outscored 40-3 in the fourth quarter and overtime in their past three games.
But a key takeaway for Seattle here is that Russell Wilson is finally forming a strong relationship with tight end, Jimmy Graham, who had eight receptions for 140 yards. The two will hope to keep this up when they square off with the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium this evening.
Speaking of the 49ers, they’ll be striving to build on their momentum after finally snapping their four-game slide with a 25-20 upset win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. Their quarterback in Colin Kaepernick was solid in this one, completing 16 of his 27 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns.
Also, the pair of wideouts in Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith made their presence felt throughout the game. Both combined for a total of 198 yards on eight catches along with a touchdown.
