Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 PM ET)
Line: Portland Trail Blazers (+8.5) at Los Angeles Clippers (-8.5); total: 209.0 – view all NBA lines
The Los Angeles Clippers drew first blood in their much-anticipated best-of-seven series with the Portland Trail Blazers, posting an emphatic 115-95 victory in Game 1 Sunday night. Six players scored in double-figures for the Clippers who improved to 30-12 at home this season.
With the loss, Portland dropped to 1-9 against the Clippers at Staples Center over the last five seasons. For the Blazers to reverse that trend and grab the all-important equalizer in Game 2, they will need C.J. McCollum to step up his play tonight. McCollum struggled mightily in Game 1, scoring just nine points on 3-of-11 shooting from the field. That’s a far cry from his 20.8 PPG scoring average this season.
The Blazers are 4-2 ATS in their last six road games against the Clippers.
