It won’t get any easier for the defending champions as standing in their way tonight are the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are coming off a convincing 91-77 victory over the Houston Rockets. They have now won nine of their last 10 games. For the Cavs to snap their four-game losing skid against the Warriors, they will need to get a huge game from LeBron James. He’s averaging 30.4 points in 28 career games against Golden State.

The Clippers had no answer for DeMarcus Cousins who scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. It was a disappointing loss for the Clippers who are now 10.5 games behind the Western Conference-leading Golden State Warriors.
They will look to return to the win column when they face the Houston Rockets tonight. The Clippers will have their work cut out for them, however, as they have struggled against the Rockets at home of late. The Rockets have beaten the Clippers by an average of eight points in their last two meetings at Staples Center. The Rockets have averaged 114 points during that two-game span.
