Stephen Curry and Draymond Green combined for 53 points for the Warriors who improved to 18-0 at Oracle Arena this season. Key to the Warriors’ hot start has been their stellar offensive play. They lead the league in scoring this season, averaging a whopping 114.4 points per game.
They will look to continue their hot start when they lock horns with the Denver Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets are coming off a tough 95-92 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday night. They pulled off the win even though they didn’t score over the final 4:17 of the game. The Nuggets were boosted by the return of Emmanuel Mudiay who had 11 points and six assists. He leads the team in dimes this season, averaging 5.8 assists per game this campaign.
The Warriors are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games against the Nuggets.
The Los Angeles Clippers stretched their unbeaten run to nine games with a nerve-wracking 114-111 overtime victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Seven players scored in double-figures for the Clippers who moved to within a game of Oklahoma City for third place in the Western Conference standings.
They will look to keep the streak going when they host the Miami Heat later tonight. The Clippers will have their work cut out for them, however, against the Heat as they have lost their last two games against Miami at Staples Center. In fact, the Heat have dominated this matchup of late, winning four of their last five meetings with the Clippers.
The Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.
