Detroit’s losing woes show no sign of abating as they slumped to their 13th consecutive defeat Tuesday night with their 108-96 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Pistons had another poor shooting performance, nailing just 34 of their 97 field goal attempts (35.1 percent) to send them crashing to their 19th defeat in 22 games.
Help is on the way for the Pistons later tonight as prized free agent signing Jodie Meeks makes his much-awaited debut against the Phoenix Suns. Meeks will bring a much-needed boost to a Detroit offense that is averaging just 92.8 points per game this season, second-worst in the NBA.
