New York Islanders vs. New York Rangers (7:05 PM ET)

Line: New York Islanders (+135) at New York Rangers (-155); total 5.5view these lines

[sc:NHL240 ]Centers John Tavares and Brock Nelson powered the Islanders to back-to-back wins over the hapless Carolina Hurricanes on Friday and Saturday. Tavares scored a power play goal and assisted in four more scores in the two games, and Nelson now leads the Islanders with a team-high three goals and six points. They should be able to challenge their rival Rangers’ goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who conceded five goals against Toronto in the second period alone.

Writer’s Prediction

The Islanders (+135) score the upset against their Metropolitan Division rivals.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals (8:07 PM ET)

Line: Baltimore Orioles (-110) at Kansas City Royals (EVEN); total 7.5view these lines

Mike Moustakas

After six games in the postseason, the Kansas City Royals continue to swing their hot bats. Mike Moustakas has hit a homer in each of his last three games, while Lorenzo Cain and Eric Hosmer have eight and seven hits in the postseason, respectively.

The Royals will have a chance to continue their hard-hitting ways when they take on Baltimore’s Wei-Yin Chen tonight. The Orioles left-hander was battered for five runs (two earned) in 3.2 innings against the Tigers in Game 2 of the ALDS. However, he won his two starts against Kansas City this season, surrendering three earned runs over 12.1 innings. You can view the complete preview of this game here.

Writer’s Prediction

There’s no hotter team in the MLB postseason than the Royals. The Royals (EVEN) remain unbeaten in the playoffs. Create a betting account now and get your daily dose of the best sports action to bet on.
