New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs (8:30 PM ET)
[sc:NBA240banner ]The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to six games with a resounding 123-98 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Eight players scored in double-figures for the Spurs who moved to within three games of the league-leading Golden State Warriors.
They will look to preserve their perfect home record this season when they face the New York Knicks later tonight. For the Spurs to accomplish that feat, they will need to continue their excellent play on the defensive end. The Spurs are allowing just 89.5 points per game this season, the fewest in the NBA this campaign.
They will have their work cut out for them, however, against a New York side that is playing some excellent basketball of late. The Knicks have won their last three games, against Eastern giants Atlanta and Miami no less. The Knicks were red-hot from the field on Monday, shooting 56 percent against a Miami team that’s ranked second in the NBA in scoring defense.
The Spurs are 8-2 SU and 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10 home games with the Knicks.

The Oklahoma City Thunder returned to winning ways Wednesday with a convincing 112-94 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at AT&T Center. Kevin Durant impressed in his first game back from a toe injury, scoring 26 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. The Thunder have now won five of their last six games.
They will look to keep their hot run going when they face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. The Thunder will fancy their chances of doing just that as they have fared extremely well against the Lakers on the road of late. The Thunder have won their last three meetings with the Lakers at Staples Center. The Thunder have averaged 110.7 points during that three-game span.
The Thunder are 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Lakers.
