TV Broadcast: ABC

Betting on the New York Knicks (+3.0)

Regular Season Record: 47-35

The Knicks leveled the series at 1-1 after winning Game 2 at Madison Square Garden last Tuesday, 111-105. Jalen Brunson erupted for 30 points on 10/19 shooting from the field and also drained six treys in 39 minutes. Unlike Miami, the Knicks are not missing any key players due to injury, with Julius Randle coming back from a one-game absence. So far in the playoffs, the Knicks are averaging just 101.4 points per game but are fifth among teams in the postseason with 46.4 boards per contest. New York was +16 on the glass in Game 2, with Randle producing 12 rebounds and Josh Hart getting 11 boards.

The Knicks are 5-4-1 against the spread in their last 10 games.

Betting on the Miami Heat (-3.0)

Regular Season Record: 44-38

Even though they lost last Tuesday, the Heat looked competitive. That’s also despite the fact that they missed the services of Jimmy Butler due to a lower-body injury. Butler can potentially return to the lineup this Saturday. Having Butler around will be a major development for the Heat, who certainly are a much better team when he’s on the floor. Butler is averaging 35.5 points on an incredible 58.5 percent shooting from the field in the playoffs, thus far.

The Heat are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.

Writer’s Prediction

The Knicks win, 115-109.
