Top Bet Games to Bet On

New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks (December 2 | 8:40 PM ET)

Drew Brees, New Orleans saints

With the Panthers hot on their heels, New Orleans heads to Seattle tonight looking to add more breathing room atop the NFC South division. [sc:NFL240banner ]

The Saints’ offense has been up to the challenge, scoring 27.8 PPG – good for 3rd in the NFL. Drew Brees leads the second ranked passing game in the league with 332 yards per game, amassing 28 passing TDs. His favorite receiver, TE Jimmy Graham, has continued to be a headache for opposing defenses, posting 11 receiving touchdowns. Only Calvin Johnson has more with 12.

Against the lowly Falcons in their last game, the Saints opted to beat Atlanta with their defense en route to a 17-13 victory.

The Saints are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games overall.

Odds: New Orleans (+5) vs. Seattle (-5), O/U: 47.5

Since suffering their only loss so far this season against Indianapolis, the Seahawks have stitched together six straight wins, burying each team standing in front of them with their vaunted rushing game.

Seattle is third in the NFL in rushing yards per game with 147.9. Marshawn Lynch places highly in the rushing charts, totaling 925 yards. But when it’s not Lynch, it’s QB Russell Wilson who has been confusing opponents with his capacity to run the ball. Wilson is second to the Raiders’ Terrelle Pryor in QBs with most rushing yards. He has 504 total.

Seattle also added another dimension to their offense with the return of WR Percy Harvin from injury. Harvin made a brief appearance in the last game against Minnesota. Expect more playing time for Harvin against the Saints.

The Seahawks haven’t lost at home in more than a year already. They are 13-0 SU in their last 13 home games.

Indiana Pacers vs. Portland Trail Blazers (December 2 | 10:00 PM ET)

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers, NBA

The Pacers remain scorching hot, extending their latest winning streak to seven games after defeating the Clippers yesterday, 105-100.

It was Indiana’s first game in a five-game road trip. In that game, Paul George was his usual self, firing 27 points and adding six rebounds and five assists. David West also had a big part in the win, scoring 24 points and snaring 12 rebounds. More than their offense, the defense allows the Pacers to trample opponents. Indiana is best in scoring defense, limiting opposing teams to just 85.6 PPG.

The Pacers are 9-1 SU and 10-2 ATS in their last 10 games.

Odds: Indiana (TBA) vs. Portland (TBA), O/U: TBA

The Blazers returned to fine form after seeing their 11-game winning streak go up in flames against the Phoenix Suns last week. Second-year guard Damian Lillard made 26 points and LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 to lead Portland back into the winning column last night with a 114-108 road victory over the Lakers. It was the fourth straight game that the Blazers scored at least 100. Portland is seventh in the NBA in scoring with 104.0 PPG.

The Blazers are 5-0 SU in their last five home games.
