Line: Seattle Mariners (+145) vs. Houston Astros (-160); total: 10.5 – view all MLB lines
[sc:MLB240banner ]Roenis Elias (4-7, 4.20 ERA) hasn’t been delivering the goods for the Mariners lately. He is coming off a poor performance during his last time out opposite the White Sox Thursday night, where he yielded four runs (three earned) on nine hits over 6 2/3 innings for the eventual 4-2 defeat. Elias, who has yet to capture a win since June 19, will look to end his losing drought by relocating his form when he toes the rubber tonight at Houston.
As for the Astros, they’ll be sending Scott Feldman (5-5, 3.75 ERA) on the mound. Feldman is fresh off his longest start of the season, throwing eight shutout innings and allowing just six hits despite the sorry 1-0 loss to the Yankees on August 24. Across nine starts at home this year, Feldman is 2-4 with a 5.16 ERA and a .318 batting average against.
Seattle is 3-7 in Elias’ previous 10 starts. Houston, meanwhile, is 3-4 in its last seven contests with Feldman starting.

San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (10:10 PM ET)
Line: San Francisco Giants (+126) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (-136); total: 6.0– view all MLB lines
Madison Bumgarner’s (16-6, 2.97 ERA) pitching prowess has been on full display throughout five starts in the month of August. During that span, he compiled an ERA of 1.43 ERA while striking out 53 batters in over 37 2/3 innings of work. Bumgarner, who notched his 25th career double-digit strikeout game against the Cubs on August 27, holds a 13-5 record and a 2.34 ERA across 20 games (19 starts) versus the Dodgers.
Los Angeles, meanwhile, counter with their ace Zack Greinke, who is 14-3 with an MLB-best 1.61 ERA. Greinke is 8-1 in his last 10 starts and has been at his best at Dodger Stadium, carrying a 7-1 record and a 1.42 ERA and .82 WHIP through 14 starts this season.
The Giants are 8-2 in Bumgarner’s last 10 starts. The Dodgers, on the other hand, have won six of their last eight contests with Greinke starting.
