Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat (7:00 PM ET)

Line: Indiana Pacers (+1.5) at Miami Heat (-1.5); total: 205.0 – view all NBA lines

The Indiana Pacers extended their winning streak to two games with a resounding 110-94 victory over the Charlotte Hornets Monday night. Myles Turner and Paul George each scored 22 points for the Pacers who snapped their four-game losing streak against Charlotte in the regular season. The Pacers were red-hot from beyond the arc in that contest, shooting 17-of-36 from the three-point area.

They will look to sustain the momentum of that huge win when they lock horns with the Miami Heat tonight. The Heat are coming off a morale-boosting 112-101 victory over the Washington Wizards. Goran Dragic scored 13 of his season-high 34 points in the fourth quarter to help the Celtics break their five-game losing skid. The Heat are 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two games against the Pacers.

Writer’s Prediction

Miami edges past Indiana, 95-90.

Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs (9:30 PM ET)

Line: Boston Celtics (+8) at San Antonio Spurs (-8); total: 201.5 – view all NBA lines

The San Antonio Spurs returned to winning ways Saturday with a commanding 130-101 victory over the hapless Brooklyn Nets. Six players scored in double-figures for the Spurs who moved 1.5 games clear of the Houston Rockets in the Southwest Division standings. Kawhi Leonard showed why he is so valuable to the five-time NBA champions, scoring a game-high 30 points. He now has seven 30-point games this season.

Up next for the surging Spurs is a clash with the Boston Celtics. Boston’s downward spiral continued on Sunday with a gut-wrenching 99-96 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was a disappointing defeat for the Celtics who have now lost three of their last four games. The Celtics will look to turn things around at AT&T Center, where the Spurs are just 6-4 this season.

The Celtics are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games against the Spurs.

Writer’s Prediction

San Antonio wins but Boston covers.
