TEAMS TRENDS
Miami Heat 5-0 SU/ATS in last 5 games
Chicago Bulls  6-1 SU/ATS in last 7 games
Milwaukee Bucks 8-2 ATS in last 10 games
Charlotte Bobcats 6-1-1 ATS in last 8 games
Cleveland Cavaliers Under 6-0 in last 6 games

1. Miami Heat

[sc:NBA240banner ]A broken nose may have slowed the surging LeBron James down, but the Miami Heat just kept chugging along. Despite missing their MVP, the Heat still easily disposed of the Chicago Bulls to extend their winning streak to five games. With three more home games against sub-.500 teams Eastern Conference teams this week, expect that streak to extend.

2. Chicago Bulls

The Heat may have beaten the Bulls, but they’re the only team that has recently, as the Bulls have been on a tear for the last couple weeks. The Bulls are 6-1 SU and ATS in their last 7 games, thanks to a major uptick in their scoring. They’re averaging over 100 points in those six victories, well above their NBA-worst average of 92.8 points per game.

3. Milwaukee Bucks

Maybe the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t as bad as their 11-45 SU record suggests.  The Bucks are a miserable 3-7 SU in their last 10 games, but they’re a very respectable 8-2 ATS after staying (reasonably) competitive in games against the Pacers, Nuggets, Magic, and Pelicans.

4. Charlotte BobcatsKemba Walker, Charlotte Bobcats, NBA

Four straight wins have vaulted the Charlotte Bobcats into contention for their second ever playoff berth. Al Jefferson (20 points and 9 rebounds) and Kemba Walker (18 points and 8 assists) have been outstanding in February, leading the Bobcats to a 6-1-1 ATS record in their last eight games.

5. Cleveland Cavaliers

The momentum from the Chris Grant firing may have worn off. Cleveland has now lost three straight games after winning six in a row, but for bettors it’s all about another Cavs streak alive: the total has gone UNDER in their last 6 games.
