A week has passed since we last put Toronto on this list but here we are again, still in awe of the Raptors’ squeaky clean recent ATS record. Following in their footsteps are the Grizzlies. How about them Knicks? Mike Woodson should be throwing a party for the way his boys are playing.
[sc:BettingArticlesShortcoder ]Here are the top 5 NBA teams to bet on
Team | Trend |
---|---|
Toronto Raptors | 10-0 ATS in last 10 |
Memphis Grizzlies | 7-0 ATS in last 7 |
Chicago Bulls | 4-1 ATS in last 5 |
New York Knicks | 6-0 UNDER in last 6 |
Utah Jazz | 4-0 OVER in last 4 |
Toronto Raptors
Next Games: @Celtics, vs. Timberwolves, vs. Lakers
The Knicks and the Nets are starting to learn how to win ball games, but the Raptors are keeping both these highly payrolled teams at bay. Toronto remains seated at the top spot of the Atlantic division. Since losing back-to-back to Miami and Indiana last week, the Raptors bounced back by putting together three consecutive wins. Not only that, these wins were also ATS victories, extending Toronto’s ATS win streak to 10 games.
Memphis Grizzlies
Next Games: @Bucks, vs. Kings, vs. Pelicans
Courtney Lee has been a pleasant addition to the Grizzlies, who are slowly returning to fine form. In just his fourth game wearing a Memphis uniform, Lee led the Grizzlies attack by scoring 24 points in a 90-87 win over the Thunder. Adding positive vibes for Memphis is the return of Marc Gasol. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year took the floor for the first time against OKC after missing 23 games due to a knee injury. Expect the Grizzlies to be more lethal in their upcoming games, especially once Gasol shrugs off the jitters. Memphis is 3-0 SU in their last 3 games and 7-0 ATS in their last 7 overall.
New York Knicks
Next Games: @Pacers, vs. Clippers, vs. Nets
For the first time this season, the Knicks weren’t talked about for how much of a waste of money and talent the team is. Since the start of 2014, the Knicks began to pile up wins, countering this perception. The Knicks are 6-2 SU in their first eight games this year, which includes a four-game winning streak. Sure, there are the occasional J.R. Smith antics but the Knicks are really balling these days. On a side note, keep an eye on their Totals performance, where they are 6-1 Under in their last seven games; their improved defense seems to have something to do with this recent trend.
Chicago Bulls
Next Games: @Magic, @Wizards, vs. Sixers
Life after Derrick Rose might be starting as early as now. The Bulls are making moves in preparation for what could only be a sign pointing to a rebuilding phase for the franchise. Nevertheless, Chicago is making it worthwhile for their fans to watch them minus two of the team’s stars, Rose and Luol Deng. The Bulls are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games.
Utah Jazz
Next Games: @Spurs, @Pistons, @Timberwolves
When was the last time the Jazz sucked this much? Utah is clearly heading back to the lottery and could be without Gordon Hayward by season’s end so for you Jazz fans, the immediate future for the team is as bleak as Andris Biedrins’ stat line. Try placing a bet on the Over in Utah’s games and perhaps you’ll find that the team is capable of putting smiles on people’s faces. The Jazz are 4-0 Over in their last four games.
