Best NFL Football Teams to Bet on – Week 14

The Seahawks gave an amazing lesson last week on who the best team in the NFL is right now, but the Panthers may have something to say about that as they are also on a blazing run. Meanwhile, the suddenly cold Chiefs look to regain their winning form.

Here are the top 5 NFL teams to bet on this week:

*All odds as of December 4.

Teams Trends
Carolina Panthers 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS in last 8 games
Seattle Seahawks 4-0 ATS in last 4 games against 49ers
Cincinnati Bengals 5-0 ATS in last 5 at home
Kansas City Chiefs 3-0 in last 3 as road favorites
Tennessee Titans 5-1 ATS in last 6 road games

1. Carolina Panthers (TBA)

Next Game: @ New Orleans Saints (December 8, 8:30 PM ET)

One can only imagine the Panthers licking their chops after seeing the Saints go down in a fiery heap against Seattle. It means that they have a golden opportunity to snatch first place in the NFC South when they take on New Orleans for their Week 14 assignment.

With Cam Newton at the helm, Carolina is the hottest team right now (you might say otherwise, especially if you’re a Seahawks die-hard) as the team is 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games. The Panthers disposed of Tampa Bay in their last game, 27-6, as 7-point home favorites.

2. Seattle Seahawks (+3)

Next Game: @ San Francisco 49ers (December 8, 4:25 PM ET)

Seattle shot itself to a sure-playoff spot after drubbing the Saints on Monday, 34-7, for their eighth straight win. The Seahawks are looking scary good right now. Especially with the insertion of Percy Harvin into the lineup. They are poised to win their ninth straight when they go up against division rival 49ers on Sunday.

The Seahawks are also 4-0 ATS in their last four games against the 49ers and 3-0 ATS in their last three games overall.

3. Cincinnati Bengals (-6)

Next Game: vs. Indianapolis Colts (December 8, 1:00 PM ET)

A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals retained a two-game cushion in the AFC North after denying San Diego a chance for back-to-back W’s. It was the second straight win for the Bengals, SU and ATS. What’s more impressive is Cincinnati’s undefeated streak against the spread as the home team.

So far, the Bengals are 5-0 ATS when playing in Paul Brown Stadium this season. The last team to visit Cincinnati was the Browns and they were torn apart, 41-20.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

Next Game: @ Washington Redskins (December 8, 1:00 PM ET)

Three straight losses have the Chiefs surrendering their grip of the AFC West’s first place. Since losing to Denver in Week 11 on the road, the Chiefs have lost two more in as many games – both at home.

Now, the Chiefs are back on the road, and this time they will try to rebound against a struggling Washington squad. It figures to be a comeback game for Kansas City and another opportunity for road team bettors to see if the Chiefs can remain undefeated on the road as faves. Kansas City is 3-0 ATS this season as road favorites.

5. Tennessee Titans (+12)

Next Game: @ Denver Broncos (December 8, 4:05 PM ET)

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tennessee Titans, NFL

The 3-1 SU start is just a blurry, distant memory for Titans fans. Since then the team has blazed its own trail to wasteland, losing six of their next eight games. And don’t even begin to mention to Titans’ fans that Denver is waiting for their team in upcoming week.

Nevertheless, Tennessee still brings smiles to the faces of their loyal road bettors. The Titans are among the best road ATS performers in the NFL. They are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games.
