Pitching:
Marquez is coming off a win on July 11, when he allowed two earned runs on five hits in 6.0 innings of a 19-2 win at home over Arizona. He will face the Diamondbacks once again this Thursday looking to extend his team’s three-game win streak when he’s on the mound. The D’backs will send to the mound Ray, who is looking to get his first win this month. He is 0-2 with a 7.36 ERA this July.

- Daniel Descalso is 5-for-14 vs. Marquez.
- Charlie Blackmon is 15-for-33 vs. Ray.

Pitching:
Freeland pitches better at home than on the road, but he is still decent away from Coors Field with a 3-4 record and a 3.38 ERA in 11 starts outside of Colorado. Godley has not allowed more than an earned run in any of his last two appearances of at least 6.0 innings long. He is 5-2 with a 3.72 ERA at Chase Field this season.

- Paul Goldschmidt is 3-for-10 with a double vs. Freeland.
- Charlie Blackmon is 3-for-9 vs. Godley.

Starters: Jon Gray (8-7, 5.44 ERA) vs. Zack Greinke (10-5, 3.18 ERA)
Pitching:
The Rockies are 3-0 in Gray’s last three starts. Over that span, Gray has allowed seven earned runs on 20 hits with three walks and 25 strikeouts in 18.1 total innings. As for Greinke, the former Cy Young Award winner is sporting a fantastic 4-1 record and 2.56 ERA in 10 home starts.
