The Georgia Bulldogs are just flattening every team in front of them. In their latest show of power, the Bulldogs clobbered the Mississippi State Bulldogs on the road in a 45-19 win last Saturday to stay undefeated. As for the Kentucky Wildcats, their season is not as shiny as Georgia’s, but they can’t still be completely counted out to score a huge upset this coming weekend. The Wildcats are coming off a 24-21 home loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores in Week 11. Check out our preview of this Georgia vs Kentucky game in Week 12 of the 2022 college football season.

Betting on the Georgia Bulldogs (-22.5)
Record: 10-0 Overall / 7-0 Conference
Stetson Bennett was a bit shaky under center in the win over Mississippi State. He passed for 289 yards and three touchdowns on 25/37 completions but also was intercepted twice. Still, Georgia is going to be hard to stop even when its offense shows some flaws. For one, the Bulldogs’ defense can always be relied upon to get the ball back as quickly as possible. The Bulldogs are allowing fewer than 15 points per game this season. Kentucky’s offense is just too inconsistent to convince football fans that it can bore a serious hole in Georgia’s stop unit.
Georgia is 4-1 against the spread in its last five games overall.
Betting on the Kentucky Wildcats (+22.5)
Record: 6-4 Overall / 3-4 Conference
The Wildcats got frustrated big time by Vanderbilt, which finally ended its 26-game losing skid in the SEC. For Kentucky, it will have to go back to the drawing board following that stunning loss to the Commodores. Will Levis passed for just 109 yards without a touchdown while throwing a pick on 11/23 completions versus the Commodores. If there’s one who stood out among the bunch for the Wildcats, it’s Chris Rodriguez Jr., who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Rodriguez will find it tougher to pick up yards on the ground against Georgia, but it’s still worth noting that he now has four games this season with at least 100 rushing yards.
Kentucky is 6-4 against the spread in its last 10 games overall.
Writer’s Prediction
Georgia wins, 41-13.
