The Indianapolis Colts are on a free-fall, having lost each of their last three games. A chance to snap their skid comes this Sunday against the rejuvenated New York Jets, who found their way out of a three-game losing skid with a win last week against the Denver Broncos.
The 1-4 Colts are +1,800 to win the AFC South, while the Jets, even though they are 2-3, have +3,300 to top the AFC East.

Betting on the Indianapolis Colts (1-4)
The Colts got another over-350 yards passing performance from Andrew Luck but lost again last week, succumbing to the New England Patriots in Foxboro, 38-24. To be precise, Luck went off for 365 passing yards and three touchdowns, but also had two interceptions. It was still an impressive effort for Luck, considering that he’s missing his No. 1 receiver in T.Y. Hilton and No. 1 tight end in Jack Doyle. Speaking of the two, Hilton is still nursing a hamstring injury, while Doyle remains questionable with a hip ailment. Should both players get ultimately ruled out for Week 6, expect wide receiver Chester Rogers and tight end Eric Ebron to continue being targeted heavily by Luck. Rogers had 66 receiving yards on eight catches against the Pats, while Ebron had a huge performance, catching nine passes for 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With or without Hilton and Doyle, Luck, Rogers, and Ebron should be able to dent the Jets’ defense that just gave up 377 receiving yards to the Denver Broncos last week.
The Colts are 3-1 ATS in their last four road games.
Betting on the New York Jets (2-3)
After scoring no more than 17 points in each of their previous three games, the Jets and their offense erupted in Week 5, trouncing the Denver Broncos at home, 34-16. The sudden spurt in the Jets was in no small part due to running back Isaiah Crowell and wide receiver Robby Anderson. Crowell went bonkers against the Broncos, rushing for 219 yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries. Anderson, meanwhile, woke up from his slumber and came away with a season-high 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns on only three catches. Anderson had 941 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season but had a slow start to the season, likely because of a change in the Jets’ quarterback position from Josh McCown to Sam Darnold. However, Anderson’s Week 5 explosion could mean he’s finally built a good on-field rapport with the rookie signal-caller. Crowell, on the other hand, could burn lots of rubber again opposite the Colts’ 28th-ranked run defense.
The Jets are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games.
