Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans Predictions, Picks, Odds and Betting Preview – NFL Week 6 2017

Week 6 concludes with the Colts vs Titans. Indianapolis is currently 3-2 against the spread and has covered in all three games at home home, but taken to the slaughterhouse in both road games, dropping by 46-9 at the Rams and 46-18 at the Seahawks. The Titans are 2-3 against the spread, are 1-1 both straight up and ATS at home. While the Colts have won the past 11 meetings against Tennessee, this was accomplished with either Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck at the helm. That of course is not the case here in Week 6 of the 2017 season.

The Indianapolis Colts are thankful the weird part of their schedule is done as they have completed their NFC West circuit with a 26-23 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts only other win was against the Cleveland Browns as a field goal separated that game. Getting two wins thus far without star quarterback Andrew Luck has been impressive to start the season.

However, Luck will still be sidelined and won’t likely return until November. In the meantime, the Colts will ride without Luck as they had one of their best games this season against the 49ers. In that win, quarterback Jacoby Brissett led the charge with 447 total offensive yards as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton had 177 yards on 7 catches.

The running game has found new life as well as Marlon Mack has entered the offense with 91 of his own rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Veteran Frank Gore finished with 86 all-purpose yards.

Betting on the Tennessee Titans (2-3)

Point Spread: (click here)

The Tennessee Titans are built on a face past offense with mobile quarterback Marcus Mariota as it showed the past two weeks the offense falls apart without him. After getting torched by Houston two weeks ago, Tennessee lost to quarterback Jay Cutler and the Dolphins as new quarterback Matt Cassel was unable to fill in for the injured Mariota.

The 2nd-string quarterback finished the game with 141 passing yards and a touchdown. Cassel was average at best, but in order for the Titans to win games, the quarterback play has to be better than average.

The Titans are expected to have Mariota back under center for this Monday night clash, as running back DeMarco Murray will enjoy the company. DeMarco Murray leads the Titans with 56 carries for 273 yards plus a score while backup Derrick Henry has 43 carries for 187 yards.

Writer’s Prediction:

The Titans have their quarterback back under center, as the Colts are still lifeless without their star quarterback. Pick: Titans
