Betting on the Green Bay Packers (5-5)
The Green Bay Packers had high hopes for this season, but their season but their season basically ended when Aaron Rodgers went down with injuries. Mike McCarthy kept telling the media he had faith in Brett Hundley, but if that is still the case, he is lying, because Brett Hundley has been flat out bad.
In the last game against the Baltimore Ravens they managed to score zero points at home, which is something Packer fans aren’t used to. In the game Hundley threw for 239 yards and three interceptions. They are sticking with Hundley for now at quarterback, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a change made at some point if Hundley doesn’t show any signs of improvement.
It’s a real uphill battle they are facing in this game, but it all starts and ends with Hundley. It doesn’t matter what the defense does if he can’t get anything going for the offense, it’s going to be a long night of embarrassing football on national television.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2)
On the other side of this match up is the Pittsburgh Steelers who come into this game hot having won five games in a row. One of the big reasons for the success has been the play of Big Ben, who started off the season slow but is playing a lot better as of late.
In the last game against the Titans where the Steelers put up 40 points he threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns. If he can keep playing the way is they are going to be a force this weekend, and when the playoffs roll around too.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Steelers have been really good coming into this game only giving up 16.5 points per game which is second in the NFL. I would look for the defense to really be licking their chops in this game trying to make Hundley uncomfortable and try to create a few turnovers.
The Packers have been terrible as of late, and that will continue in this game. I think the Steelers will turn over Hundley and big Ben will have a huge game on the way to an easy victory and cover. Pick: Pittsburgh (-14)
