Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview – Week 12 – November 25, 2018

The Jacksonville Jaguars (+10,000 to win AFC South) have become arguably the most disappointing team this season. At this point, all they want to end their losing skid. The Buffalo Bills, on the other hand, have managed to stopped their own losing streak last week, so their mission now is to win in consecutive fashion for the first time this season.

Betting on the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-7)

The Jaguars’ situation is getting worse each passing week. In their latest debacle, the Jags lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers at home, 20-16. Reaching the playoffs is becoming more and more of a pipe dream for Jacksonville, which is immensely infuriating for the team, especially when considering the fact that they reached the AFC title game just a season ago. A golden opportunity for them to return in the win column comes this weekend against the also careening Bills squad. The Jaguars, however, are in no position to take anything for granted. Although the Bills are pathetic this season, they can bring down the pain defensively, so the Jaguars, for one, have to tighten up their security of Blake Bortles. The Jags’ offensive line was exposed once again in the Steelers game in which Bortles was sacked six times for a loss of 40 yards.

The Jaguars are 3-2-1 ATS in their last six road games. The over is 2-0 in the team’s last two games away from Jacksonville.

Betting on the Buffalo Bills (3-7)

The Bills are coming off an extended rest, thanks to a Week 11 bye. The Bills should have benefited from that extra time to sort out their quarterback issues. Before Buffalo went into a bye, the Bills got a surprisingly productive performance from Matt Barkley, who threw for 232 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 15-of-25 completions during a 41-10 road win against the New York Jets. However, rookie Josh Allen is reportedly practicing now, which means he’s trending positively towards a possible return to action this weekend against the Jaguars. In any case, the Bills defense could be good enough to keep the Bills in the game against Jacksonville. Buffalo is allowing 25.1 points per game, but the team’s defense against the pass is the best in the NFL. The Bills are allowing only 202.4 passing yards per game and 99.8 rushing yards per game — 10th best in the NFL.

The under is 6-2 in the Bills’ last eight games.

Writer’s Prediction

Jacksonville wins, 24-17.
