Where: Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
When: Sunday, July 3, 2022, green flag at 3:00 PM ET
Chase Elliott (+525)
Ranked first in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series standings with 586 points, Elliott will look to build on his momentum following a win at the 2022 Ally 400 last Sunday. Elliott now has two wins and four top 5s in 18 starts this season. And of course, Elliott is the defending champion of this race, having won the 2021 Jockey Made in America 250 Presented by Kwik Trip in which he also recorded 24 laps led.
Kyle Larson (+700)
After failing to crack the top 10 in his previous two starts, Larson finally got one again when he finished fourth at the 2022 Ally 400. Seventh in the standings with 519 points, Larson has nine top 10s and seven top 5s in 18 starts, thus far this season. He finished 16th in last year’s edition of the Jockey Made in America 250 Presented by Kwik Trip.
Ross Chastain (+800)
The TRACKOUSE RACING driver is putting together a solid season, having collected already eight top 5s and 11 top 10s. Those include his pair of wins to help boost his stock in the standings in a major way. Ranked second overall with 556 points, Chastain won the 2022 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix back in March and the 2022 GEICO 500 in April.
William Byron (+2500)
Here’s what we said about Byron in our 2022 Kwik Trip 250 presented by JOCKEY Made in America sleepers piece:
Byron did not have a good weekend, as he finished just 35th at the 2022 Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway, but with two wins this season, he will always be a driver to watch, regardless of his odds. Take for example this upcoming action at the 2022 Kwik Trip 250 presented by JOCKEY Made in America, which he is not among the top favorites to win. Nevertheless, Byron has a win and six top 5 plus nine top 0s in 24 career starts on short-track courses.
Alex Bowman (+2800)
Here’s what we said about Bowman in our 2022 Kwik Trip 250 presented by JOCKEY Made in America sleepers piece:
Bowman was not able to finish the race at the Ally 400 last Sunday due to Damaged Vehicle Policy, so he must be very eager to see action right away in hopes of rebounding with a much better performance. Bowman has a win in the bag this season, as he took the checkered flag at the 2022 Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube last March at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Joey Hand (+50000)
Hand has appeared in only two NASCAR Cup Series races this season, placing 35th at the 2022 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix lat March and at the 2022 Toyota / Save Mart 350 in June.
Ross Chastain wins the 2022 Kwik Trip 250 presented by JOCKEY Made in America.
