The Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos are two of the most disappointing teams in the entire NFL this season. Both are under .500 and coming off losses in Week 10. Derek Carr passed for 248 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 24/38 completions in the loss to the Colts, while Davante Adams posted 126 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine catches and 14 receptions. Josh Jacobs rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Those three will always be the ones leading the Raiders, but they still need the others to step up, including on defense. Perhaps meeting Denver again will wake up the Raiders. In their win over the Broncos, the Raiders outgained Denver, 385-299, and had 13 more first downs as well. With the Broncos dealing with many injuries on their offensive line, Carr and company could be due for an offensive explosion in Week 11.
The Raiders, who are averaging 22.6 points per game, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus teams from the AFC West division.
Betting on the Denver Broncos (-2.5)
Regular Season Record: 3-5
The Broncos are still not getting it together on offense. Russell Wilson went just 21/42 for 286 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception in the loss to the Titans, while no one on the team had more than 24 rushing yards. But given the state of the Raiders’ defense, the Broncos can hope for a healthier offensive production in the rematch with Las Vegas. On the season, Las Vegas is 28th in the NFL with 25.1 points allowed per outing. The first time these two teams crossed paths, Wilson went 17/15 for 237 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. He also rushed four times for 29 yards and a touchdown.
The Under is 7-0 in the Broncos’ last seven games in their last seven November games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Raiders win, 26-23.
