The Rams are coming off a 31-10 road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17. They simply did not have enough firepower to keep up with the Bolts. Baker Mayfield went 11/19 for 132 passing yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. However, running back Cam Akers showed signs of life for the Rams’ offense by rushing for 123 yards on 23 carries. Akers could have more success in Week 18 against Seattle, which allowed him to rush for 60 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries back in Week 13, albeit in a 27-23 loss. The Seahawks are third-worst in the NFL with 150.5 rushing yards allowed per game.

Regular Season Record: 8-8
The Seahawks can’t afford to lose to the Rams. Otherwise, they are sure shots to miss the playoffs. So expect Seattle to go all out in Week 18. Pete Carroll’s team is coming off a 23-6 home win over the New York Jets in Week 17, so the Seahawks have some momentum heading into this all-important matchup versus the Rams. Geno Smith passed for two touchdowns while Kenneth Walker III rushed for 133 yards on 23 carries against a very good Jets defense. When the Seahawks beat Los Angeles in the previous meeting, Smith went 28/39 for 367 yards passing and three touchdowns with an interception.
