…he is expected to play through his knee injury, which he sustained in the divisional round against the Texans.
This will be the third time in four years wherein one of the Bennett brothers (Martellus’ brother, Michael, played in SB 48 and 49 for the Seahawks) are in the Super Bowl. Martellus played a key role in the Patriots offense this season, with TE1 Rob Gronkowski sidelined for much of the year (back).
Bennett had 55 receptions for 701 yards in his first year as a Patriot, and led the team in TD catches, with seven.
