The Grizzlies’ tank is scheduled to make one last stop this season in Oklahoma City this Wednesday. The Grizzlies, who lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, 113-94, are 2-2-1 ATS in their last five games. Although the Grizzlies have been an eyesore to watch for hoops fans this season, MarShon Brooks has made the team a little bit more watchable of late than usual. After signing a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies, Brooks has averaged 22.0 points on 52.2 percent shooting from the field. The Grizzlies have since inked him a multi-year deal, so expect him to play inspired on Wednesday after scoring 14 in the loss to Minnesota. Also playing well for Memphis is Dillon Brooks, who has put up 17.8 points in the last five games. The Grizzlies are averaging just 99.0 points per game are allowing 105.1 per contest.

Betting on the Oklahoma City Thunder (46-34)

The Thunder avoided embarrassment by making sure that Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony are going to the playoffs by way of defeating the Miami Heat on Monday, 115-93, on the road.  George scored 27 points against the Heat, but the real story was Brodie’s triple-double of 23 points, 18 rebounds, and 13 assists in 38 minutes of play. Westbrook needs 16 rebounds to average a trip-dub for the second season in a row, and a game against the tanking Grizzlies seems to be the perfect situation for the reigning MVP to go for it. Brodie played in two of the three games so far this season against Memphis and averaged 21.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 14.5 assists. The Thunder have shot the ball well from deep versus the Grizzlies, as OKC has made 15.0 three-pointers on 41.7 percent shooting from long distance against Memphis this season. The Thunder are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings with Memphis.

Writer’s Prediction

OKC wins, 115-100.
