Betting on the Miami Dolphins (+7.5)
Regular Season Record: 8-5
The Dolphins fell short in Week 14, as they lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on the road, 23-17. Miami is now 0-2 straight up in their last two games, both on the road. Perhaps a game against a team it had already victimized this season will help change the current course of the Dolphins, who beat Buffalo back in Week 3, 21-19, at home. Tua Tagovailoa went 13/18 in that game for 186 yards passing and a touchdown, though, h was not able to play at 100% form because of an injury. Well, Tagovailoa’s healthy now and he’s still got Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who had 102 receiving yards on four receptions and six targets. Defensively, the Dolphins will look to contain Josh Allen in the pocket. They sacked Allen four times in the first meeting and had four sacks versus LA.
The Dolphins are 9-4-1 against the spread in their last 14 games vs. AFC East teams.
Betting on the Buffalo Bills (-7.5)
Regular Season Record: 10-3
The Bills are humming. Josh Allen and company are on a four-game win streak after taking care of business in Week 14’s 20-12 takedown of the New York Jets at home. Buffalo has scored at least 24 points in three of its last four outings and scoring 20 against a Jets team that has a stout defense wasn’t too shabby either. While he was sacked multiple times by the Dolphins in the los to Miami, Allen was still able to pass for 400 yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions for Buffalo, which is top five in the NFL this season in both scoring offense and total offense.
The Bills are 5-1 against the spread in their last six Week 15 games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Bills win, 28-23.
