Meanwhile, the Nationals have shaken off a four-game losing streak with back-to-back wins against the Houston Astros. Washington will come into the game later with a 5-0 record in their last five home games.

Chicago will start left-handed Jose Quintana (3-7, 3.98 ERA) tonight.

The Red Sox hope that they’ll be as successful later at Oakland, where they have lost eight of their last 10 trips there.
The Oakland A’s will have Scott Kazmir to start the ball game. Oakland is 3-0 in Kazmir’s last three home starts.
