Three-straight losses have dropped the New York Knicks below .500. But hey, at least the Knicks have 22 wins, which is way more than what they had at this point last season. Up next for the Knicks is a testy matchup with the Toronto Raptors, who are brimming with confidence right now.

Betting on the New York Knicks (22-25)
[sc:NBA240banner ]The Knicks dealt Toronto its first home loss of the season. And they want to do it again, as they pay the Raptors another visit later tonight. Dating back to 2014, the Knicks are 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS in their last four trips to Toronto.
The Knicks, however, may be without Carmelo Anthony for tonight’s rematch with the Raptors. Anthony, who had a game-high 25 points on 10-for-23 shooting in the Knicks’ 111-109 win over Toronto on November 10, didn’t see action in their 128-122 overtime loss to Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Should Anthony’s knee force him to sit out another contest, Lance Thomas may get the call to start anew. Thomas had 16 points in the Thunder game.
With or without Anthony, the Knicks are looking to coax another excellent production from their bench, which outscored their Toronto counterparts in the first meeting, 54-23. New York has the edge in non-starters scoring over the Raptors, as it is 10th in the league with 36.6 bench points per game. The Raptors’ relievers, on the other hand, produce just 27.5 PPG.
Derrick Williams has been terrific of late, as the backup power forward has put up 14.4 points and 7.8 rebounds in the past five games. With Kristaps Porzingis playing well, too, the Knicks’ four position must be able to overpower Toronto’s pair of power forwards in Luis Scola and Patrick Patterson.

Betting on the Toronto Raptors (30-15)
At least Toronto has the Raptors. While the Maple Leafs keep on losing, everything appears to be clicking for the Raptors, who extended their win streak to nine games after beating Washington on Tuesday, 106-89.
The Raptors had the inside-outside tandem of Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas to thank for their dominant win over the Wizards. Lowry led the team with 29 points and five threes, while Valanciunas had a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, who scored 17 points against Washington, hold the key in beating the Knicks, as they’re simply the better backcourt tandem than that of New York, which will likely feature Jose Calderon and Arron Afflalo in the starting lineup. Toronto guards are third in the NBA with 52.6 PPG, while the Knicks’ backcourt is last with 32.4 PPG.
Toronto is averaging 105.4 points per game while shooting 47.0 percent from the field thus far this month.
Toronto is 5-0 ATS in its last five games overall.
