The Arizona State Sun Devils’ chances to secure a bowl game ticket is not that high right now, as they continue to struggle with losses piling up on them. A win over the Oregon Ducks will definitely change the narrative for ASU, but that’s something that’s going to be easier said than done. Will the Sun Devils pull off the upset in Tempe? Or will the Ducks keep flashing their dominance in the Pac-12?

Betting on the Oregon Ducks (9-1 Overall / 6-1 Conference)
The Ducks continue to coast. By defeating the Arizona Wildcats at home last Saturday to the tune of a 34-6 score, the Ducks managed to extend their winning streak to nine games. The last time they lost was way back in Week 1 to the Auburn Tigers in a neutral location, and since then, Oregon has looked fantastic despite a lack of wins against ranked teams. Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert passed for 333 yards and four touchdowns with an interception on 20-of-28 completions. Herbert is expected to be a first-round pick — if not the first overall — in next year’s NFL Draft, and he’s mostly showing why he is regarded that way. With Herbert at the helm, the Ducks were able to convert on 45.54 percent of their third down plays — good for 20th in the league as of Week 12. Herbert is going to be a big threat to Arizona State’s defense that’s not particularly imposing, entering Week 12 just 107th nationally with nearly 270 passing yards allowed per game and only four interceptions on the season.
The Ducks are 3-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last three road games.
Betting on the Arizona State Sun Devils (5-5 Overall / 2-5 Conference)
The Sun Devils still can’t find their way out of a rut. They are on a four-game losing skid following a 35-34 road loss to the Oregon State Beavers over the weekend. The Sun Devils leaned mostly on the arm of quarterback Jayden Daniels, who went 23 for 36 for 334 passing yards and three touchdowns without a pick thrown, while running back Enzo Benjamin chipped in 70 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Arizona State’s defense failed the team in the Oregon State game, though. The secondary looked toothless with the Beavers having their way in the passing attack. That can’t stay the same for the Sun Devils with Herbert coming to town. Last year, though, Herbert threw a pair of interceptions in a close 31-29 home win over the Sun Devils. He was picked off by Cam Phillips and Aashari Crosswell, though, the former is currently questionable to play this coming weekend.
The Sun Devils are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Ducks win, 37-27.
