Never ignore the drivers with longer odds. While the likes of Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and Tyler Reddick are surely going to get the most attention heading into the 2022 Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race this coming Sunday, it’s still wise – pun intended – to consider the other ones who could deliver a huge payday for those brave enough to take a chance on them.

Austin Cindric (+2800)
Cindric is all of a sudden the leader in points in the NASCAR Cup Series standings after scoring a big victory in the 2022 Daytona 500 and securing a 12th-place finish in Fontana last Sunday. Cindric aims to sustain his strong start going into this weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he has zero experience as a NASCAR Cup Series driver. However, he placed fifth in his last start on an intermediate track, which was in the 2021 NASCAR All Star Open at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Austin Dillon (+3300)
Dillon almost nailed a spot in the playoffs when he placed runner-up in the 2022 Wise Power 400 over the weekend. Still, that showing provides him a solid momentum to build on ahead of Sunday’s race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dillon has managed to crack the top 15 in both of his last pair of appearances there.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (+5000)
Stenhouse had a forgettable performance at Daytona but he made up for it with a 10th-place campaign last Sunday in Fontana. The Team JTG Daugherty Racing driver has 13 career starts at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, collecting a couple of top 10s and a top 5 with an average finish of 19.15 there.
