It could be a wide-open race to the top at the Detroit Golf Club this week, with no top-five players included in the field of competitors. Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka are all out. This also means an excellent opportunity for bettors to lay money on some tasty sleepers, three of whom we’ve discussed below.

Kevin Na (+4000)
It’s been an up-and-down type of season for Na, who’s had some subpar performances and strong showings scattered in 14 starts, thus far. Take for example his solo-fifth place finish at the Travelers Championship, which came a week after he missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Na also has a win under his belt, which came from his success at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in October of last year. Na, who’s 18th on the Tour in strokes gained: total, has three top 10s and seven top 25s this season.
Doc Redman (+4000)
Redman has made the cut in all his three starts since the resumption of the season. The 22-year-old Chapel Hill native has managed a T58 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, a T21 at the RBC Heritage, and a T11 at the Travelers Championship. If you’re looking for a sign why he’s going to be even better this week in Detroit, here’s one: Redman finished as a runner-up in last year’s edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Redman is also 13th on the Tour in driving accuracy percentage (68.94) and 21st in greens in regulation percentage (70.49).
Brandt Snedeker (+6600)
Last year, at the first-ever staging of the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Snedeker sneaked into a T5 finish with a final score of -17. Snedeker bounced back from a missed cut at the RBC Heritage with a much better T41 finish at the Travelers Championship. That should serve as a morale-boosting springboard for him, heading into the tournament he had a strong showing in 2019. On the season, Snedeker has a lone top-10 finish (a T3 at the Farmers Insurance Open last January) and four top 25s in 10 starts.
