Joaquin Niemann (+2800)
Nieman certainly deserves a look as a sleeper for the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. He’s 31st overall in the current official golf world rankings after a T36 in the 2021 Travelers Championship. Before that, the 22-year-old Chilean placed tied for 31st spot in the 2021 US Open. He’s been busy joining PGA TOUR events this season, and you might be surprised at how often he’s managed to make it to the weekend. In 21 starts, he has been cut just once. He also has four top 10s and 11 top 25s. His best finish to date this season was a solo runner-up performance at the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions in January. He also had a T2 in the 2021 Sony Open in Hawaii a week later. At present, Niemann is eighth overall with a scoring average of 69.885.
Keegan Bradley (+4000)
Bradley has been cut in both of the last two tournaments he played in. He missed the weekend boat in 2021 the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide then was cut again in the 2021 Travelers Championship. But don’t let those letdown showings by Bradley discourage you entirely from laying money on him for the upcoming 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. For one, as a sleeper, his four top 10s this season look tasty. His best finish on the season thus far was a runner-up campaign in the 2021 Valspar Championship.
Doc Redman (+5500)
You might have guessed his name appearing on this list of sleepers. After all, he made a run all the way to a solo second-place finish in the inaugural edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2019. He had a decent finish at Detroit Golf Club the following year with a 21st-place finish. Redman seems to love the atmosphere down in Michigan, and he’ll go there this week with some momentum as well, having gone 5 of 5 in his last five starts. He had a couple of top 10s over that stretch, with a T9 in the 2201 AT&T Byron Nelson and a T2 in the 2021 Palmetto Championship at Congaree.
