Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys Predictions, Picks, Odds and Betting Preview – NFL Week 11 2017

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys Predictions, Picks, Odds and Betting Preview – NFL Week 11 2017

This is one of the biggest NFL games of the 2017 season thus far, betting handle included. The reason? Philly is currently the league’s best team with an 8-1 record, while the Dallas Cowboys are (and always will be) the most popular NFL team on the globe. The game also features a building rivalry between young and rising-star QBs Carson Wentz (Eagles) and Dak Prescott (Cowboys).

Last season, the teams split wins. In Week 8 of the 2016 season, the Cowboys (in Dallas) won 29-23 in O/T on a 5-yard touchdown pass. The Eagles didn’t touch the football in O/T, blowing a 23-13 lead in the fourth-quarter. In Week 17 of the same year (in Philadelphia) the Cowboys lost 27-13, but at that point they had already sealed their spot as top seed in the NFC, and subsequently rested key starters.

Philadelphia is 6-4 straight up and against the spread in their last 10 games in Dallas. Join the rest of America in betting on this big Week 11 match-up.

TV Broadcast: CBS

Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)

Point Spread: (-3.5)

The Philadelphia Eagles entered their bye week (last week) on a seven game winning streak, capping it off with a 51-23 win over the Denver Broncos, covering as seven-point favorites in the process.

For the game, the Eagles outgained the Broncos 419-226 and outrushed them by a total of 197-35. QB Carson Wentz threw four TDs without an interception, giving him a 23-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the season thus far. The Eagles’ defense did their part, holding Denver to one offensive touchdown.

To date, Philadelphia has outgained each of its last six opponents and outrushed the last seven.

Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (5-4)

Point Spread: (+3.5)

The Dallas Cowboys intend on bouncing back in Week 11 after a 27-7 loss to the Falcons last week. Losing Ezekiel Elliott to a suspension sealed their fate before the game started, and that was punctuated when the Cowboys punted twice and lost a fumble in Atlanta territory, followed by a key missed field goal.

Prior to that mess last week, the Cowboys were on a three game winning streak, and had outgained their previous five opponents and outrushed their last six.

Writer’s Prediction:

Ezekiel Elliott withdrew his appeal today (November 15) and will serve the full 6-game suspension at the back-half of the season. Philadelphia has the top-ranked run defense in the league, allowing just 66 yards per game on the ground. On the offensive side, QB Wentz is playing like and MVP. Pick: Smart money takes the Eagles to cover.
