Betting Preview for the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Miami Dolphins Week 7 Game on October 23, 2022

Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, Florida

When: Sunday, October 23, 2022, 8:20 PM ET

Line: Pittsburgh Steelers (+6.5) vs Miami Dolphins (-6.5) – view all 2022 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: NBC

Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (+6.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-4

The Steelers might have to go back to starting Mitch Trubisky after rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered a concussion in Week 6 against the Buccaneers. Trubisky passed for 67 yards and a touchdown on 11/18 completions in the win over the Buccaneers. The Steelers’ ground attack continues to be a huge letdown for the team, with Najee Harris rushing for only 42 yards on 14 carries versus the Buccaneers but perhaps a game against the careening Dolphins could be the cure for Pittsburgh’s ills on the ground. Pittsburgh’s defense, meanwhile, can find success this coming Sunday against Miami’s offensive line that allowed six sacks to Minnesota.

The Steelers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight Week 7 games.

Bet on the Steelers

Betting on the Miami Dolphins (-6.5)

Regular Season Record: 3-3

The Dolphins are reportedly expected to have Tua Tagovailoa back in action in Week 7 and that’s great news for the team. Miami hasn’t looked right since Tagovailoa started missing games due to injury. If Tagovailoa ultimately returns this coming Sunday, that will surely elevate the ceiling of the Dolphins’ passing attack which still has the explosive duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who had 177 and 129 receiving yards in Week 6. Tight end Mike Gesicki, meanwhile, scored two touchdown grabs against the Vikings.

The Dolphins are 10-2 against the spread in their last 12 home games versus a team with a losing record on the road.

Bet on the Miami Dolphins

Writer’s Prediction

The Dolphins win, 27-20.
