Betting on the Seattle Seahawks (+1.0)
Regular Season Record: 6-3
Geno Smith passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns with an interception on 26/34 completions against Arizona, while rookie running back Kenneth Walker III burned rubber for 109 yards and two touchdowns. The Seahawks are in a groove, and they continue to prove that they are more of a legitimate Super Bowl contender and less of a team that is fluking their way to wins. The Buccaneers haven’t been as good this season as it was advertised prior to the 2022 NFL campaign, so the Seahawks definitely can’t be counted out against Tampa Bay in a neutral-site contest.
The Seahawks are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall.
Betting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.0)
Regular Season Record: 4-5
Tom Brady saved the day for the Buccaneers in Week 9, as he engineered a game-winning drive that was capped by a touchdown pass to tight end Cade Otton. Brady finished the contest with 280 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions on just 36/58 pass completions. Seattle’s defense isn’t the sharpest out there, particularly against the pass, so don’t be surprised to see Brady coming up with a much more efficient performance from out of the pocket in Week 10. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay’s defense is top five in the NFL with just 18.2 points allowed per game.
The Buccaneers are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games in November.
Writer’s Prediction
The Buccaneers win, 24-17.
