Betting on the St. Louis Blues (45-28-9 Regular Season)
Goalie Jordan Binnington had San Jose locked up in Game 4. Following a nightmarish ending for the Blues in Game 3, Binnington made sure that his team will get a payback the soonest time possible, as he made 29 saves on 30 shots faced to get his 10th win in these playoffs. By doing so, Binnington also became the 10th rookie in NHL history to get as many wins in a single postseason. It was a huge game for Binnington which St. Louis needed, especially with its offense managing just two goals. Tyler Bozak and Ivan Barbashev each had a goal for the Blues, while top-liner Brayden Schenn remains without a goal in the series. There’s been a dearth of scoring production for the Blues’ first line, with Schenn, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jaden Schwartz only having two goals in the last five games.
The over is 4-1 in the Blues’ last five road games.
Betting on the San Jose Sharks (46-27-9 Regular Season)
Apart from losing Game 4, the Sharks also have to seemingly worry about the health of star blueliner Erik Karlsson, who got hurt in the third period. The extent of his still undisclosed injury is still unknown, and the Sharks will have to hope that it’s not serious enough to cost him a game. He did manage to return to the game, though, so that’s a good sign. The Sharks outshot St. Louis, 30-22, but Binnington was just on top of his game. That’s not to say that Sharks goalie Martin Jones wasn’t, but he could have done better with fewer shots to deal with. Tomas Hertl scored the lone goal for the Sharks in Game 4, his first in the series and 10th in the playoffs. Although the Sharks’ top line didn’t score a goal in Game 4, it’s more productive of late than St. Louis’, with Timo Meier, Logan Couture, and Gustav Nyquist combining for seven goals and seven assists in the last five games.
San Jose is 3-1 in its last four home games.

San Jose wins, 3-2.
