The Green Bay Packers (4-0) are one of the remaining few teams that are still unbeaten this season. Aaron Rodgers, the 2014 NFL MVP, has been the prime reason for this remarkable accomplishment. He’ll be tested once again come Week 5 when he tries to stretch the Packers’ unbeaten run to five against the visiting St. Louis Rams (2-2), who’s coming off a thrilling 24-22 upset win over the Cardinals.
Which team will take home the glory? Will the Packers stay perfect? Or will the Rams make it two in a row? Read on below for an in-depth breakdown at this NFC showdown. And while you’re at it, check out our other Week 5 game previews: Bears vs. Chiefs, Colts vs. Texans and Bills vs. Titans. Enjoy.

Betting on the St. Louis Rams
Having managed to rack up just 16 points in their last two games, the St. Louis Rams finally woke up from their offensive slumber versus the Arizona Cardinals Sunday night. In that game, they put up a total of 24 points which was just enough to help them pull off the upset and get back on the winning track.
[sc:NFL240banner ]Playing a big part in this achievement was their quarterback, Nick Foles. Foles was simply remarkable in this contest, completing 16 of his 24 passes for 171 yards and connected with wide receiver Tavon Austin, who had 96 yards on six catches, for two of his three touchdowns. Although, the biggest play of the game was without a doubt Todd Gurley’s 52-yard run in the final period that set up the Rams’ game-winning touchdown.
Defense also was a key factor for this win as St. Louis limited the Cardinals, who scored 31, 48, and 47 points during their 3-0 start, to just 22 points and forced them to field goals in four of five trips in the red zone.
That said, the Rams’ will look to sustain this momentum this coming Sunday when they go on the road again and take on another unbeaten team in the form of the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers, who are currently 4-0 on the season.
Needless to say, it’ll be easier said than done but is very possible as long as the Rams’ defensive line could continue providing the necessary stops at the red zone especially against a Packers’ offense that is averaging 136.2 rushing yards per contest this year, the third-most in the NFL right now.
Meanwhile, it’ll be good to keep an eye on Gurley, who rumbled for 146 yards on 19 carries opposite the Cardinals, to continue lighting up the Rams’ ground game and provide a major headache to the Packers run defense.
St. Louis is 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS in its previous 10 games as the underdogs.

Betting on the Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers stayed undefeated after emerging victorious, 17-3, against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday. They have improved to 4-0 to start the season, which is the first time that that’s happened since 2011.
The Packers, however, got off to a slow start to kick things off in the game as they were evidently bothered by the pesky Niners defense. They were held to 1-for-7 in third-down conversions and to just a single scoring play in the first half—a nine-yard touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers—which was also their lowest first-half scoring total of the year.
But eventually the reigning MVP of the league showed up and imposed his will on his opponents. Rodgers finished the game 22-of-32 for 224 yards with a touchdown and rushed for 17 yards to set up a crucial second-half score to help them snap a four-game losing streak to their NFC rivals. With the win, the Packers return home with a smile and will look to remain unscathed when the St. Louis Rams pay them a visit at Lambeau Field for the Week 5 clash.
For the Packers to continue rolling, Rodgers needs to just keep being himself. He’s completed 67-of-91 passes for 771 yards with 10 touchdowns through four games this year and has already garnered comparisons to the great Michael Jordan for his dominant performances.
Also, it’s safe to say that their star running back in Eddie Lacy, who rushed for 90 yards on 18 carries against San Francisco, is bound for another notable performance opposite a Rams defense that ranks seventh-worst in the league with 120.2 rushing yards allowed per contest across four games into the 2015 season.
Green Bay is 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in its past 10 games as the favorites. Moreover, the Packers are an incredible 11-0 (8-2-1 ATS) in their last 11 games at Lambeau.
Writer’s Prediction
The Packers (-10) improve to 5-0 on the season with a commanding 35-13 win over the Rams.
