Betting on the TCU Horned Frogs 5-0 (-6)

The TCU Horned Frogs have showcased their strong defense all season as they were able to knock off 23rd ranked Virginia last week to improve to 5-0 on the year. The sixth-ranked TCU team was lead by quarterback Kenny Hill who connected on 15 of 28 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown. The senior quarterback is one of many reasons why TCU can knock of any team on any Saturday.

The senior quarterback is having a terrific season, racking up 1,153 passing yards with ten touchdowns and three interceptions. The Horned Frogs offense is a well-oiled machine and have yet to be silenced by an opponent.

Once again the Frogs defense was up against a powerhouse offense in West Virginia but held them to only 24 points. They might allow a lot of total yards on the year, but they will force turnovers and turn any game around quickly. They are now 2-0 in Big 12 play.

Betting on the Kansas State Wildcats 3-2 (+6)

The Kansas State Wildcats are ready to turn the page in a big way against the TCU Horned Frogs as they are coming off a heartbreaking 40-34 overtime loss to Texas last weekend. It simply did not go their way, but quarterback Jesse Ertz was once again solid as he completed 12 of 18 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns. Ertz is continuing to showcase why he deserves to play in the NFL.

The senior quarterback is having a strong season, recording a career 930 passing yards through six weeks with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. Even with a strong passing game, the Wildcats have an even better running game.

The Wildcats average around 225 rushing yards per game as even on an off day like last week, the team was still able to manage 140 yards on the ground in the loss. The Wildcats running game is their greatest offensive weapon, however, they will be facing a stingy TCU rush defense in this matchup.

Writer’s Prediction

Every week TCU continues to prove why they are one of the best in the FBS. Nobody can stopped them and there’s a strong reason why. The defense is way too powerful Pick: TCU (-6.5)
